Fighters like Daniel Cormier, Ronda Rousey, Luke Rockhold, Nick Diaz, and Alistair Overeem all made their mark in the promotion before finding success in the UFC. The organization was also home to Fedor Emelianenko, one of the greatest heavyweights in MMA history, and showcased high-level competition in multiple weight classes.

Strikeforce also introduced titles in multiple divisions, with champions such as Gilbert Melendez (lightweight), Luke Rockhold (middleweight), and Ronda Rousey (women’s bantamweight) dominating their respective weight classes.
